I am known best for my fiction titles, but I’ve also written many nonfiction books for beginning readers. This article from the Islip Public Library points out “The Benefits of Nonfiction for Early Readers”—and notes, in particular, that “education experts believe nonfiction might be the key to a non-reader’s heart.” In other words, if you have students who struggle with reading, nonfiction may be the answer!

You can find my nonfiction titles, on topics covering science, geography, nature, and biographical subjects, on my website.
