Celebrate Earth Day’s 50th the Wild Way
April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. The coronavirus pandemic is having an impact on public celebrations in every arena, but you can check the Earth Day website for digital Earth Day events and other ideas about how your students can acknowledge this important milestone this year. You may also want to seek out some of my picture books to share with the young people in your life: Baby Bear Discovers the World; The Cutest Critter; Jump, Little Wood Ducks; and Some Babies Are Wild.
